We are looking for a self-motivated individual with excellent communication and organizational skills and a drive to make a difference in the area of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) and Product Delivery. Responsibilities include:

  • Support and improve our Digital Simulation, Synthesis Flows and Other IC (Integrated Circuit) Flows
  • Support and improve our Microprocessor Interface Code Generation Tools that generate SystemVerilog, IPXACT and html
  • Create new programs/script for productivity as required
  • Participate in code reviews, testing and documenting your quality work
  • Support and improve our product delivery tools
  • Help deliver chip designs or verification solutions to our customers

Qualifications, Skills, Experience

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with a strong interest in learning Digital Design Tools a must
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills
  • Quick learner with strong communication skills and self-motivated team player
  • Experience with linux environment & utilities and Windows Systems
  • Experience with one or more of the following scripting languages: Python, Perl, Tcl, bash (must)
  • Experience with one or more revision control systems (SVN, git, or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with Verilog/System Verilog or the ability to pick up quickly
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Knowledge in one or more areas of the following would be a plus:

  • Experience with industry standard design and verification tools (VCS/DVE, Xcelium/Simvision or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of Computer Architecture with a preference to ARM/AMBA
  • Experience with Jenkins and Distributed Computing like SGE or LSF
  • Experience with SQL (mysql), html, CSS, JavaScript and CRM (Custom Relationship Management) database systems
  • Experience with Code generation templates tool (Jinja2)
  • Experience Unit test frameworks like Junit, Python Unittest
